Hi there! We are Sophie and Tash, best friends and co-founders of Ethereal Events.
Both from New Zealand, we have a relaxed and considered approach when it comes to planning, coordinating and styling.

We both have a love and passion for creating beautiful, romantic and thoughtful events and weddings, and thrive in the chaotic and magical moments that will undoubtedly arise.

Ethereal Events was born from a joint love of helping others create the day of their dreams, without the unneeded fuss and stress. Our mission is to help create a streamlined, stress free day that you can truly enjoy, relax and be in the moment, all whilst creating lifelong memories.
meet sophie!
With a background in customer service and project management in various interior design focused roles, Sophie perfectly blends together her passion for colours and styling with her detail orientated management skills.
Sophie loves the whole process of planning an event or wedding; from the initial stages of meeting and getting to know and understand the clients and their vision, creating a mood board, coordinating with vendors and of course, seeing everything finally come together on the day. Seeing the clients’ reaction on the day is her favourite part of the process, it’s truly special!
When Sophie isn’t spending her time planning events, you can find her sipping on a good gin or coffee, brunching at the best Brisbane cafes, researching skincare, or searching for her next favourite jumpsuit.

Tash has a strong background of 15+ years in sales and office management, where she has honed her planning and organisational skills.
With a passion for styling and event management, Tash has completed a Certificate of Professional Wedding Planning, Style and Design, to further her skills and knowledge in the industry.
Tash is one of the most organised people you will ever meet, and you can be sure that she will help make the planning of your event or wedding easier than you would have ever imagined possible!
Outside of office hours, you will find Tash enjoying a good wine, cooking a fantastic Thai curry, attending Pilates classes, or shopping for new interior decorations.
